My DIY Peacock Costume

I know I'm a bit late on this post as Halloween was last week, but my schedule's been absolutely crazy! On top of making this Halloween costume, I had a busy week at work and midterms to write for university. Since I was short on time I wanted to make the construction of this costume as simple at possible. It was a completely no-sew costume (a LOT of hot glue was used) and took me about 8 hours to complete. I wore it to work and to two parties and it's still pretty much intact! I'll admit though, I left a trail of fallen feathers wherever I went and the big feather wings came on pretty early on in the night. I kept smacking people in the face with them and wouldn't fit into the bathroom! Overall I'm really happy with it and I have already started thinking about what crazy costume I could make for next year.

Happy (very belated) Halloween everyone!

    1. Thanks Shaira! You should definitely give a big costume like this a try - they're really not that hard to make if you have a plan and don't fuss over the little details. If you ever do feel like doing one in the future, drop me a message and I'll help!

      Cheers!
